An organization is only as strong as its volunteers. We are looking for people to fill various support functions within the league and you do not need to be an expert on Baseball or an athlete to help out.

League Scheduler – We are looking for two organized people to write the game and practice schedules.

Shetland Commissioner – Serving as commissioner is one of the most rewarding positions in the league. This person is the main point of contact for Shetland Families, Coaches and Managers.

Website Admin – This person essentially keeps the content of our website updated. Helpful skills are a level of proficiency with Excel, ability to create pdf documents, organized, able to maintain historical computer files and comfortable navigating through multiple web browsers.

Fundraising – This person would assist the VP Admin in developing new fundraising ideas and helping follow through with them.

Newsletter – This person would help prepare our online newsletter that would be released several times per year.

Equipment and Field Supplies – This person would assist the VP Operations to identify equipment that needs to be repaired or replaced and the replenishment of field supplies, such as chalk. We could use one person at each of our main playing fields (Chase, Pine, Poinsettia & Calevera).

Equipment – This person would assist our equipment manager to get the gear clean and in good repair for the upcoming season.
Volunteer Coordinator – When specific volunteer needs are identified, this would be the go to person to help fill them. This person would also help direct volunteers during our opening day ceremony.
